Bacon makes the world go round.

observation #1: hot damn, it’s hot. WHEW. this cali girl is going to take awhile to get used to that. 

observation #2: singapore’s beautiful. so noticeably clean, and GREEN. 

observation #3: amazed at how westernized the city is. popped into the store to pick up some basic supplies - so many american brands! i feel like i could pretty much find anything i wanted from back home. they had the same brand of cheese that i just saw at costco, and i even found my favorite deoderant (yes, i forgot my deoderant at home). 

observation #4: i can already tell that i’m going to get fat - happily so. 24 hour food places everywhere (and a loving hut is just around the corner!).

in general, arrived in singapore smoothly (aside from a hiccup trying to find my apartment building). jetlag kicking in - good night’s rest ahead and then first day of work tomorrow…
